Made for the 20 minutes after löyly. When pores are open and skin is warm, fat-soluble actives absorb at maximum efficiency. Cloudberry. Rosehip. Vitamin E. Finnish birch sap replaces all water. This is when the bar works hardest.
Post-sauna skin is not normal skin. For 15–20 minutes after löyly, skin temperature is elevated, blood vessels are dilated, and the stratum corneum is maximally permeable. No soap brand has ever formulated explicitly for this window. Recovery is built around it. Finnish birch sap replaces 100% of the lye water — not a trace, not an extract, the actual sap. Every mineral it carries (manganese, zinc, potassium) enters the soap matrix from the first moment of saponification. The V2 superfat blend adds rosehip seed oil alongside cloudberry — rosehip is the highest natural plant source of beta-carotene (vitamin A precursor) and tocopherols (vitamin E) in existence. Both are fat-soluble. Both are rinse-resistant. Both are biologically active in the sauna window when skin permeability is at its peak. Add cloudberry omega-3 and omega-6, vitamin E tocopherol, and a 60% olive base for maximum longevity, and you have the world's only nutritive wash formulated for peak skin permeability. 12% superfat. 8–12 week cold-process cure. 100% birch sap. Replaces 100% of the lye water. Minerals and natural sugars enter the soap matrix from the start of saponification.
Birch sap contains manganese, zinc, potassium, vitamin C, and fructooligosaccharides. Harvested in Finland in March–April, frozen and stored. No competitor in the EU uses birch sap as a complete water replacement in cold-process soap — this is a verifiable formulation claim.
Hero superfat. Omega-3 and omega-6 rich. Added after trace — stays free and conditioning.
Rubus Chamaemorus grows wild above the Finnish Arctic Circle. The seed oil carries a rare fatty acid profile with high concentrations of omega-3 alpha-linolenic acid and omega-6 linoleic acid. A 2018 PubMed study confirmed 86–99% of these polyunsaturated fatty acids survive cold-process saponification when added as superfat.
V2 co-superfat. Beta-carotene (vitamin A precursor), vitamin E. Fat-soluble, rinse-resistant.
Rosa Canina seed oil is among the highest natural sources of beta-carotene and tocopherols in plant form. Both compounds are fat-soluble — they stay on the post-rinse skin film rather than washing away. In the elevated-permeability window after sauna, this makes them functionally available to the skin barrier in a way normal-temperature washing does not allow.
Humectant. Draws water to the skin surface. Added at light trace.
Honey is a natural humectant — it attracts and binds water molecules to the skin. Its natural sugars also contribute to trace acceleration in cold-process soap, which is why it is added at light trace rather than in the oil phase.
Antioxidant. Added as superfat. Also preserves the fragile polyunsaturated oils in the formula.
Tocopherol is fat-soluble and functions as a natural preservative for polyunsaturated oils (cloudberry, rosehip) as well as an antioxidant on the skin. It is present in both rosehip and cloudberry naturally, with tocopherol added as a direct superfat addition to ensure a consistent concentration across batches.
